Field trips at The ATTA Library of STEM & History are designed to get students exploring, experimenting, questioning, and discovering. Through hands-on STEM activities, interactive technology, immersive experiences, and connections to history and the real world, students don’t just learn about a concept, they get to experience it.

Our field trips are designed for grades 6–12 and can be tailored to complement classroom learning while introducing students to STEM careers, new technologies, and the people and ideas that have shaped our region and beyond.

Computer Science: Explore how computers work through hands-on challenges involving algorithms, logic, binary, and problem-solving.

​Discover the science behind color! Students observe how different chemicals produce unique colors when heated, then use spectroscopes to explore their distinct light spectra and uncover the connection between chemistry, light, and color.
