welcome to the atta!

We are your hub for hands-on STEM experiences and historical insights in Southeast Alabama.

Our Mission Is To Inspire

explore. discover. inspire.

At The ATTA, young minds and lifelong learners alike are invited to explore hands-on STEM learning, uncover regional history, and imagine bold futures.

We believe that history and innovation go hand in hand. That’s why you’ll find:

  • Exhibits that honor the breakthroughs of the past

  • Interactive spaces that explore the technologies of today

  • Programs that prepare the next generation for the careers of tomorrow

Rooted in the Wiregrass region, The ATTA celebrates the extraordinary contributions of local citizens while opening doors for students, educators, and families to engage with science, technology, engineering, and math in meaningful, exciting ways.

Most of all, The ATTA is a place where stories begin—stories of resilience, discovery, creativity, and purpose.

Because just like Susie’s story, your story has the power to change the world.
